Class D Amplifiers

Some of the most efficient amplifiers ever made are Class D. The Cathedral Speaker Co. builds custom turnkey amplifiers that perform extremely well coupled with the Cathedral speakers. They are built using linear power supplies optimized to provide the best possible clean power to the DIY type amplifier modules. The result is impressive and for a fraction of the cost of "Ultra-Fi". The amps below are both Tripath TK2050 chip based and one employs a 12AU7 tube buffer. They produce 80 watts per channel and 48 watts per channel respectively.
